Welcome to Kahootz County where Brothers Bobby and Billy Nitwits’ quest for lost treasure brings them more than they bargained for…. A stay at the ONE and ONLY, Kahootz County Jail, an Unsolved Murder, Unspoken Family Secrets, and a cast of Zany Inmates and Officers Alike! Throw in a Host of Mad-Cap Family Members from Moonshine Mountain and you have a “Crooked” Tale like No Other!

Sat 21 Sep: Walking Church- CHANGE IN LOCATION

Pray with Your Feet! Get closer to the Creator on a Guided Walk
Saturday, September 21 at 9:00am 

The location has changed!:
Distance: 14km
Location: Gaetz Brook Greenway
7km out and 7km back with a break at the turn-around point for lunch at a covered picnic table. This is a beautiful trail with many lovely wooden art installations to see. It is a Rails to Trails path, flat and well-groomed, with well-maintained outhouses!
Meet at the Eastern Trailhead parking area at 9am, and the return time should be between 12 and 1pm.

Walking Church is back – Summer Dates!

Summer Dates and Locations for Walking Church

July 20, 2024 – 10:00am, Salt Marsh Trail beginning at parking lot #3.
Distance 2km out and 2km back for a total of 4km. Flat trail with
both shade through the trees and open sections over the water.
Sunscreen recommended.

July 23, 2024 – 6pm, Shubie Park beginning at the parking lot at the
Fairbanks Centre. Distance 2.7km. Well maintained trails with mild
hills.

August 20, 2024 – 6pm, Forest Hills Greenway starting at 460 Auburn
Drive. Distance 2.7km. Flat trail that is paved all the way.

September 21, 2024 – 9:00am, Crowbar Lake Trail, 1800 Myra Rd,
Porters Lake. Distance 10km – 5km out and 5km back along the
Spriggs Brook section to Granite Lake. Very rugged terrain in spots,
single file path mostly. Lots of woods and a look off view. Pack some
snacks, sunscreen and bug spray and water! This is a longer hike
over what is considered moderate terrain and for those who
desire a longer hike and are physically fit for more strenuous
hike.
