Volunteers needed @ Kidston June 8
Camp Kidston is looking for any volunteers able to help this Saturday June 8th get the camp ready for the summer season. If you haven’t had the chance to go to camp, it is wonderful place to spend the day. If you have friends able to lend a hand please bring them along. All are welcome. You can either reach out to Lee Warren, or to the camp directly on Facebook to let them know you will be there. Thanks!
Guess who’s coming to dinner?
Are you interested in sharing a meal with friends?
The church will be hosting a dinner fundraiser Saturday February 9th 6pm. We have lined up hosts that will be opening their homes to share a meal. We are now looking for guests to attend. Tickets are $30 a person. Families are welcome. Kids 12 are under will eat for free.
The fun part of the event is that the hosts won’t know who will be joining them for dinner! It will be a surprise when they arrive at the door. Guests will be told the day of the event where they will be going. It is sure to be a fun evening of fellowship.
As travel will be involved for guests of this event, getting to a host’s home, we will let you know that all hosts are located in the Cole Harbour area.

Choir Christmas Cantata (Dec 16)
Please join us for an evening of music on Sunday Dec. 16th as our choir presents a cantata by Joseph M. Martin, “The Mystery and the Majesty”, an inspirational cantata celebrating the wonder and splendour of Christmas. The music is sure to get you into the Christmas spirit!
The performance starts at 7:30 pm. We hope to see you all there.
Paint Night, Christmas Theme – Nov 30 7-9
Join us Friday 30 November 7-9 pm for a Christmas themed painting with our host Lisa from Empty Nest Designs. Cost for this fund-raising event is $40 (adults) or $20 (children). Find your inner van Gogh!!

Families Connect – Oct 27/18

Family Game Night
Come join us for a Family Game Night this Saturday September 29th from 5:30-7:30pm. Potluck supper to share before the games begin!
If you can, let Kelly know what you are planning to bring to share for supper. We will have a selection of games to play. You are welcome to bring your own games.
Family Paint Night
Come join us Saturday June 2nd for our next family night event at CHWUC. Lisa from Empty Nest Designs will be our guest as she guides us through painting a masterpiece.
This event will be tailored for both kids and adults, with different sized canvases for each. There will also be a space setup for little ones to paint their own creation.
We would like to know if you are able to come in advance, if possible. There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex. You can also contact the church or Kelly Warren to book a space.
Note there will be no potluck meal to share this night. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Come join our Junior Choir!
A choir for children ages 7 and up will be starting this new year! Rehearsals will be every other Sunday following church, for 45-minutes.

Calling all families to come and enjoy a Family Game Night. A variety of board games will be set up for families to play and challenge other families to a friendly competition!
