What is Walking Church?
Walking Church is a way to connect with nature and to explore and deepen your spirituality. All are welcome!
Anyone can come no matter if you have never been to a church or you are a regular church goer. All are welcome.
Before we start walking, a guide will say a short devotion. A devotion is a few readings that share a theme. The readings are usually about nature, respecting the land, community and being kind to each other. They might be poems or stories. There will also be prayers and a few words from the Bible that go with the theme. The devotion is to help us focus on our hearts and on the world around us. This usually lasts about 10 minutes. Then we walk! When we come back the guide will say a blessing.
