The CHWUC Visioning Committee wishes to thank each and every one of our church family. Thank you for everything you do within our walls and for all you do in our community that makes “Offering the Care and Comfort of Christ” a fitting vision for our church. We also want to thank everyone who has volunteered their time in the past for, without you, our church would not exist today. Thank you to everyone who shows up on Sunday for service whether it is in person or via Zoom or YouTube for, without you, worship would be less powerful; “Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” – Matthew 18:20
The Visioning Committee have developed the following questions to aid us in getting to know CHWUC’s congregation better. We wish to understand what is important to all of you so that we envision the programs and support for the causes that are relevant within our church family and out in our immediate community. The United Church of Canada has a new Call and Vision. It is “Deep Spirituality, Bold Discipleship, Daring Justice”. The following questions have been developed based on this Call and Vision using documents found on the UCC website and through other resources available through UCC and Atlantic School of Theology.

This is part 1 of 2 surveys that will be shared with the congregation. The survey results will be used by the Visioning Committee in confidence. You may submit your survey anonymously or you may add your name at the end so that we may reach you for further information. There will also be paper versions of this survey available in the Narthex.
