Cole Harbour Cares Community Event – Saturday, March 9th

All good things must come to an end, but not without a celebration of recognition and reflection!

Cole Harbour Cares has decided to disband after many years of working hard at sponsoring three refugee families. After two successful sponsorships, unfortunately, our 3rd sponsorship fell through. We want to organize a party, sort of a celebration of life for all the work we have accomplished.

There will be goodies, tea and coffee, and of course community connection!

Kindly RSVP to Anne Woods by email: woodsmum(at)hotmail.com

Youth Group Christmas movie Fri 22 Dec

The CHWUC Youth Group invites the young and young at heart to join them on Friday, December 22nd for a Christmas Movie Night in the Hall. The movie will start between 6:30pm-7pm and we will have popcorn and drinks. Please bring your own bowls and mugs if you can. Donations for families in need of help this holiday season are appreciated!
We will be watching “The Star” (released in 2017) – A small but brave donkey named Bo yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill. One day he finds the courage to break free and teams up with Ruth the loveable sheep and Dave the hilarious dove with lofty aspirations. Along with three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals, Bo and his new friends follow the Star on the adventure of their dreams, filled with lots of laughter – and become part of the greatest story ever told.
